WARRANTY QUESTIONS

  • WHAT IS YOUR WARRANTY AGREEMENT?

    Messerstahl® Professional Kitchen Cutlery is crafted from only the finest quality steel available in the world and is manufactured to conform to the most rigorous standards known to the cutlery industry. As such, each piece of Messerstahl® Cutlery is guaranteed to be free of any and all defects in workmanship and materials for as long as you own the product. This warranty is expressly granted in lieu of all other warranties except implied warranties. Messerstahl® will replace or substitute at equal value any returned knife or accessory shown upon examination to be defective at our discretion, and without charge. With the exception of damages resulting from Messerstahl® Cutlery's failure to comply with federal or state warranty law, this warranty does not cover any incidental or consequential damages, whether direct or indirect. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary state to state. All transportation charges and shipping expenses are the purchaser's responsibility. Coverage for your Messerstahl® Professional Kitchen Cutlery terminates if you sell or otherwise transfer the Messerstahl® Cutlery. If service becomes necessary, return the product, insurance and freight or postage prepaid, with a written description of the claimed defect and proof of purchase from an authorized distributor.

  • HOW DOES THE WARRANTY POLICY WORK?

    It's simple! If one of your Messerstahl items becomes damaged send any broken piece(s) into our Corporate Office at:

    Please remember to print out and fill in the Warranty Claim Form. Pack the form in the shipment and we'll be sure to give you a call when we receive the package. After evaluation we will either repair or replace any items at our discretion.   • WHAT IS THE RETURN POLICY?

    Messerstahl is proud to offer a no questions asked return policy on our cutlery. If you do not absolutely love your new set of Messerstahl in the first 90 days simply return your products with the original receipt and we’ll refund you as soon as we receive it. 10% restocking fees apply.

  • WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO CARE FOR MY KNIVES?

    With LOVE! Although Messerstahl Cutlery is made to withstand the harshest quality control tests we have a few recommendations for keeping your cutlery at the top of its' game:

    - Hand wash and dry all knives after each use.
    - Occasionally polish the knives with a good stainless steel cleaner.
    - Quickly hone the knife's edge every couple of uses for optimal slicing & dicing

  • HOW CAN I SHARPEN MY KNIVES?

    There are many ways to sharpen your cutlery collection! You can use our honing steel or our simple to use hand-held Messersharp. Either should do the trick and readjust your Messerstahl knife edge back to factory specs!
